Commercial Building Design |
InLine can prepare construction documents, specifications and structural calculations for your new commercial, industrial or retail building.
· Low-rise Wood framed buildings on ground are common for small office buildings. This option can have surface or tuck-under parking.
· Low-rise Concrete or masonry office buildings are used where fire ratings warrant. This configuration is normally more expensive than an equivalent wood framed building.
· Low-Rise Tilt-Up Concrete buildings are common for industrial facilities such as distribution centers and manufacturing. They provide economy, durability and maximum fire ratings.
· Mixed Use Buildings consisting of a wood framed structure over a concrete parking deck is a common configuration. Residential units are commonly placed at the elevated levels, retail or commercial is at the ground level and parking is placed below grade.
· Mid-Rise Steel framed buildings are common for office buildings. The bracing systems might use moment frames or eccentric bracing.
